Gary is a Director of Sapere Forensic and Head of Investigations. Between January 2004 and December 2018, Gary was a partner at KPMG Australia and was the national leader of its Forensic practice between January 2009 and June 2017. Prior to 2004, Gary was a partner at KPMG Canada, where he led its Forensic practice in Vancouver.

Gary has led numerous investigations into matters involving fraud, bribery, corruption, money laundering, cyber-crime and other related misconduct for corporates, financial institutions and government. He also advises his clients in effectively managing risks relating to fraud and other financial crime.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Accountancy from University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and is a Member of Chartered Accountants in Australia + New Zealand, Member of CPA Canada and a Designated Specialist in Forensic & Investigative Accounting, CPA Canada.
