Gerri is a specialist in asset and financial management and a NZ Treasury accredited Asset Management Maturity Assessor. She has extensive experience in organisational and asset management maturity assessments for The Treasury. She is experienced in writing business cases, strategy, risk assessment and planning, delivering outcomes for the New Zealand Government, transport and infrastructure clients that are both robust and commercially sustainable. The assessment and workshop process can be used by any organisation to understand current organisational practices, and the robustness of financial management, asset creation, asset life, utilisation and end-of-life disposal or repurposing.
Prior to joining Sapere, Gerri worked in infrastructure asset management roles in the finance and transport sectors. She recently played an instrumental role in writing Kiribati South Tarawa Hospitals’ first asset management plan.
Gerri holds a Bachelor of Arts (English & Political Science) from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) from the University of Southern Queensland. She is a member of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia, the Asset Management Council and a NZ Treasury accredited Asset Management Maturity Assessor.
