Alan Thu is a valuation and corporate finance specialist with 25 years’ experience across consulting and commercial roles. He regularly undertakes business and intangible asset valuations for transaction and compliance purposes, and advises corporations on mergers and acquisitions, financial control, and strategy.

Alan has extensive experience conducting valuations, damage calculations and financial investigations, which form part of expert evidence presented before courts in New Zealand.

Prior to joining Sapere, Alan held senior management roles at industry-leading corporations across Asia, where he developed deep commercial insight. This experience underpins his ability to deliver solutions and investigations that are commercially grounded, pragmatic, and effective in real-world business environments.
