Andrew Tessler is a Director in the Sydney practice with nearly 30 years experience as an economist in the public and private sectors, both within Australia and internationally.
Andrew’s work has focussed on economic appraisal and economic impact work. He has a particular speciality in transport and infrastructure economics, however his expertise also extends to a diverse range of sectors including the arts, technology, law enforcement, health, the environment and energy. and has served as an expert witness in court proceedings. He has a particular interest in the valuation of intangible cultural and environmental assets and the illicit economy. His clients have included a range of local and international public and private sector entities.
Andrew has held senior roles at Oxford Economics (Australia and the UK), Booz Allen Hamilton (Australia) and NSW Treasury. Other past experience includes work with the NSW Department of Transport and the NSW Crime Commission.
