Consultant Support

Leané is experienced in providing quality project coordination and support. During her time at Sapere, she has facilitated multiple stakeholder engagement projects, assisted with project management, produced impactful presentations and assisted in the proofing of reports. Recently, she had a major role in a project involving extraction of data from a district council resource and formulating a methodology for the valuation of easements granted to a district council.

Prior to joining Sapere, Leané worked as an executive assistant for Presbyterian Support Central, supporting a busy social services team covering the lower North Island. Leané previously utilised her project coordination skills as an intern at ChangeMakers Resettlement Forum, assisting in the development of an online library of research relating to refugee-background and ethnic migrant communities in the Aotearoa context. During her study, she also worked as a research assistant and a tutor in undergraduate Public Policy.

Leané holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Religious Studies from the University of Victoria, Wellington, where she received an academic excellence scholarship and was recognised three times on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence.
