The Mekem Strong Solomon Islands Fisheries (MSSIF) programme is a partnership between New Zealand and Solomon Islands. It is implemented by the Solomon Islands Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR), with support from the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT). The objectives of this assessment were to assess the general performance of MSSIF to date, including progress on capacity development, and make recommendations for design of future support.
