Ben Barton takes an interdisciplinary approach to research with practical relevance and implementable outcomes. His experience has included examining methods for incorporating exogenous data into perishable inventory management and short-term demand forecasting for food manufacture and supply chain optimisation.

Prior to returning to complete his Masters in Commerce, Ben founded Culinary Escapades and was Managing Director at Scarecrow Limited between 2014-2016.

Ben has a Master of Commerce (Economics) from Auckland University.
